I have only recently begun receiving acupuncture treatment, and after several sessions I started to experienced some of the many benefits acupuncture can provide for my well being. This is a modality I will continue to use for the health of my body, and mind throughout my life. I was aware of acupuncture from a young age, and knew many people that benefited from it, although I did not seek treatment myself as a healthy young individual. I had the opportunity to receive acupuncture for the first time as a prospective student at OCOM. This and subsequent treatments with current OCOM interns, and OCOM graduates, solidified my decision to pursue a career in Chinese medicine.
