In modern day society, seeing acts of “chivalry” such as someone opening the door for you or paying for dinner is starting to become uncommon. I don’t understand in which point-of-view someone could see these acts as “sexist”. If I were to go out on a date, normally, a guy wouldn’t be quick to come open my car door for me, but when it does happen, it is defiantely more appreciated. When a guy goes out of his way to impres a girl, it’s not sexist, is a gentleman thing to do. When it comes to paying for dinner, I don’t think it’s “expected” out of a guy today, but other guys set a standard for themselves that if they were to take a girl out on a date, that they would want to pay for her dinner to impress her and not make her pay for herself.
