Activity Two - The best bargains in town
1. Sit in groups of 4.
2. You will each received a price list of 4 different supermarkets (A, B, C & D) and 1 copy of the shopping list.
3. The aim of this game is to get the lowest prices for the items listed on the shopping list.
4. Look through the prices of items at different supermarkets and decide which is the cheapest for each item on their shopping list.
5. Take turns asking and saying how much each item is.
Example: Ss1: How much is a jar of jam?
Ss2: It’s RM4.20 at Econmart.
Ss3: It costs RM 4.10 at Price Cutters etc.
6. Write down the price beside each item and calculate the total amount spent on shopping.
7. The group that finishes the fastest and spends the least amount of money is
