With careful analysis of the nutrient report and activity tracker it is clear that my dietary regimen is in need of an over haul. Moreover my activity and exercise is also lacking and is in need of change as well. This fact is not surprising or unknown by me because I was diagnosed with metabolic syndrome with diabetes type II, hyper tension, high cholesterol. The food tracker is not as accurate as I want it to be. It does not take in account the array of supplements that is prescribed by my doctor or the over the counter supplements I take.

To be more specific the report says I am under in calcium, which I can counter by adding more dairy in my diet like milk, cheese and yogurt. According to the report, my saturated fat is over and greater than 10% which is not good. Reducing my fat intake by consuming lean meats like sirloin instead of ribeye will help tremendously also changing the oils it is cooked in, for example switching from canola to olive oil will greatly reduce the saturated fat intake this will also help in lowering cholesterol and further aid in weight loss. Likewise my dietary fiber is also low by 18% and by consuming more fiber can aid in my body to better dealing with my saturated fat issue. Consuming more fiber can also help in the Linoleic acid which is derived from vegetables and adding vegetables like dark greens, this is the solution for the two problems in my mineral report. Over consumption of salt is the explanation of the sodium overage in my body switching salt with Mrs. Dash or other salt replacement or just reducing the salt intake will dramatically the risks associated with sodium like hyper tension and heart disease. All the minerals and vitamins I am lacking from this report is gained by the multi vitamin supplement prescribed by my doctor and is absent in my food
