Activision Blizzard Research Paper

ATVI (Activision Blizzard) When I first started trading, I decided to buy 500 ATVI shares for $49.06 per stock. Now, the last price is $53.99, resulting in a significant increase of +$4.93 per share. I bought Activision Blizzard because of its popular game, Overwatch, which released in 2016. This game has been hailed as the best game of its year. Recently, the game had released new and free content for Overwatch and my profits have been rising ever since. There was so much commotion and joy from video gamers when Activision Blizzard released content for Overwatch because it was free, as always, which is such a rarity in the gaming community. In an article by The Motley Fool, it says that Activision Blizzard stock has been up over 300% in five

The Gamer’s dilemma, a term coined by Morgan Luck (2009), outlines the predicament faced by gamer’s when asked to acknowledge why the ethics of virtual killing is deemed morally permissible, whilst virtual paedophilia is considered morally prohibited. This dilemma prompts an analysis of the acceptance of the immoral act of virtual killing and question why virtual paedophilia is wrong in a gaming context. I will argue that there are not enough moral discrepancies between virtual killing and virtual paedophilia to suggest that virtual paedophilia should be socially rejected, whilst killing accepted, therefore both must be allowed. I will evaluate two arguments to support the premise of my thesis. Firstly, I will assess the claim that no living human being is harmed in the process of a virtually immoral act.…

Area 51 is, by far, one of the most secretive places in the world, but what could it be that the government wants to hide? The idea of the government keeping information away from the public isn’t exactly far-fetched, but to dedicate an entire facility to it is somewhat unsettling. Some of what has been created here has been revealed to the public, such as the U-2 Spy Plane. The Area is notorious for having many conspiracies against it, but what catalyzed that was the infamous “Roswell Incident”. The Roswell Incident happened in early July, 1947.…

“Should Gamers be Prosecuted for Virtual Stealing?” By Alex Weiss Textual Analysis Alex Weiss, a graduate from Arizona State University, wrote this essay on virtual theft for his Work and Play in Contemporary Fiction/Digital Media class. It was later published in the online magazine Slate (Bullock and Goggin 731). Liquidity The current and quick ratio are used to determine a company’s ability to meet its short-term obligations. Though it is not surprising that the current ratio is generally higher due to the inclusion of inventory in the calculation, the bulk of Nintendo’s current assets are in the form of cash and cash equivalents, indicating that it is highly liquid. Nintendo uses little debt leverage and accrues minimal liabilities, which explains why their current/quick assets cause the current and quick ratios to be greater than 1 and why these ratios have steadily increased over the past 3 years.…
