In the beginning of the quote he says ¨O, what a rogue and peasant slave am I!¨ referring to how he feels betrayed by the people he trusted the most, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, since he sees them walking over to Claudius after they finished their conversation with him.
In that moment forward, he does think that Claudius has to do with his father’s death and that he and Gertrude sent Rosencrantz and Guildenstern to provide them information from Hamlet. He feels worthless and feels that he is being tossed around and no one really cares about what he’s feeling. In lines 586-587 he says,

Action versus thought in Hamlet is a careful and fickle balancing act that is operated differently and incorrectly for every character in the play. Some characters are too indecisive while they ponder their plans and actions. Other characters are too rash and make bad decisions as a result. Hamlet openly expresses his disapproval of Claudius when he calls him “A little more than kin and less than kind” (ENTER CITATION). Through these words, Hamlet’s disgust is unmistakable, and his vexation only intensifies once he learns that Claudius murdered his father. These series of events all happen within such a short span of time that Hamlet can barely process his feelings, much less address them. Clouded by his ire, Hamlet impetuously stabs Polonius, thinking it is Claudius hiding behind a curtain. Shakespeare implies how “excessive are his [Hamlet’s] indulgences in emotion” by making Hamlet base his decisions solely upon his emotions (ENTER CITATION).…

Three of my favorite texts from semester two My time in 303 has been more than just a class, It's been more than just homework, it's been an adventure. The first semester was a learning experience, finding the flow of 303 and learning how to think on my own; However second semester was different, not only did i understand how this whole thing worked, i was getting more intelligent each day. The texts that Dr. Mcgee made us read weren't exactly easy to comprehend, and the questions he asked made us think for hours after his lectures, and i think that's what made me love these texts so much.…

I could imagine the emotions Hamlet is going through at this part of the play. He is depressed and angry about what Claudius has done to his father. If I were Hamlet, I would be furious and want to get revenge immediately as well. “Haste me to know it, that I with wings as swift, As meditation or the thoughts of love, May sweep to my revenge” (1.5.35-37). Hamlet tells his father to unfold more details about the crime his uncle commited, so he can plan his revenge and kill his…

Polonius: Polonius is consistently presented as comic relief here. This can be seen most easily in one of his first miniature “speeches” in the scene, when despite acknowledging that “brevity is the soul of wit,” he takes ten lines merely to inform Claudius and Gertrude of what they know already - that their son is mad. This is an amusing episode for the audience, as by admitting that wit is denoted by brevity and then failing to demonstrate any ability to be brief, Polonius effectively calls himself witless and the audience laughs at his ignorance of his own inferior intelligence. It is plain that this is evident as much to the other characters as to the audience, as Gertrude makes clear with her gently mocking entreaty “more matter with less…
