Action Against Hunger is a organization that believes global hunger should be obliterated. They help many people all over the world each year providing them with life essentials such as, fresh water, food and healthcare.

Action Against Hunger was founded in 1979 in Paris, France by Bernard-Henri Lévy, Jacques Attali, Françoise Giroud, Marek Halter, Alfred Kastler and Guy Sorman. The headquarters are located in Canada, the United States of America, Spain, France and in the United Kingdom. This organization was founded in order to help people who are suffering all around the world whether it be from starvation, unclean water or natural disasters.

They also reflect Christ because they help everyone who is suffering no matter their race or religion, as Christ tells us to respect our neighbours. This agency works for social justice because they provide the same rights to men and women. They also provide them with same programs and help them apply for jobs.
Action Against Hunger targets the stewardship of creation, solidarity and human dignity which are some of the Catholic Social Teachings. The Stewardship of Creation means that we are called to care for our other humans and show them respect. We are also called to care for the planet since God has created it. This applies to the works of Action Against Hunger because they look after other humans by providing them with their services. Solidarity means that all of us humans are one human family, whatever their race, religion or nationality differences. Solidarity means that we should love our neighbor. It made think more about how many people are suffering and how fortunate we are to be living in Canada. It also showed me that we should not take anything for granted, since so many people are struggling with things that we can easily access such as water and food. It has made me think about what I can do for people who are less fortunate. I learned that I can donate through Action Against Hunger to help people. I can also donate to many different organizations such as UNICEF. Christ expects us to care for our fellow human beings and be kind to them no matter their race, nationality or religion. For example, if we see a homeless person who is hungry, we can help them by giving them something to eat or by giving them money. In conclusion, we should thank God for creating us because without him none of us would exist and none of us would have anything we have today.
