Acting is something I have always loved and had an interest in. Actors bring characters to life and play amazing roles. I know that acting is not an easy career and it takes hard work and dedication. I think that I can put my mind to this and be an actress one day.
Actors are responsible for rehearsal attendance along with line memorization. Actors need to be able to memorize movements and steps to make the film the best it can be. Actors need to be able to bring the characters to life and make the film look real. Actors need good stage, screen or vocal presence along with always having the confidence, energy and dedication to perform. They need to be creative. Experience is important in this career because experience can lead to bigger roles. Grades and being in clubs like Beta, Scholastics and Student Council are good to participate in for resumes. These are good for resumes because agencies often look for people with experience and good history with their schools.
Obviously the salary for acting depends on the role. If you work local, small productions the salary would be less than a netflix series or movie. Salary can vary widely in the field of acting. Employment of actors is shown to grow 12 percent from 2016 to 2026, faster than the average for all occupations. There will continue to be strong demand for new movies and television shows so more new actors will be needed.
I think that the there are many pros and cons of acting. For me there are more pros, such as getting to do something you love for a job, getting to create or tell stories and also to bring characters to life. Some cons of acting are that only a few very talented people get jobs on ‘the big screen” and that it would be difficult to get auditions. The average unemployment rate for actors hovers around 90 percent. This means that only about 10 percent of actors get to
