In Macbeth It’s is a story all about bloodshed, death, and loyalty. And In the three Scenes for Macbeth Act 4 shows many qualities of a striving king. Act 4, Scene 1 shows that a good king embodies God instead of relying on Satanism. In Scene 1 Macbeth can be seen going up to the witches showing that he is relying on Satanism to predict what will happen if he does continue to kill. When Macbeth finds out about Banquo's ghost, he sets out to find the three witches so that with the help of witchcraft they can tell what will happen to Macbeth if he keeps killing which shows that a striving king should should do the opposite and embodie God not go against it. ”In this way ,Macbeth can be assured of his safety both by Macduff’s death and the apparition’s prophecy” Macbeth exhibits elements that reflect the greatest Christian tragedy of all: the Fall of Man. In the Genesis story, it is the weakness of Adam, persuaded by his wife (who has in turn been seduced by the devil) which leads him to the proud assumption that he can "play God."This shows us that Macbeth knows what he is doing and it isn’t right, it just also tells us how bad of a kingship he contains. In Scene 3 we see Malcolm and Macduff talking, then we get to the part where Malcolm starts questioning Macduff about himself due to Malcolm having a loyalty test towards Scotland and it was passed. “O Scotland, Scotland!” Showing his positive feeling towards of course, Scotland. So Macduff’s loyalty to Scotland leads him to agree that Malcolm is not fit to govern Scotland and perhaps not even to live.
