The first place is the acropolis in Athens Greece. It has been in Athens, Greece for for 2,500 years and has been a major land sight it shows the achievements of the western civilizations and also the failures. There is a great marble temple that shows the Acropolis sight. The Greek term Acropolis means high city. It was built between 461 BC to 429 BC and has been standing ever since. I have not been to the Acropolis but it seems like a really cool place. I would like to go and see the acropolis because of how long it has been standing and because I really want to visit Greece.
The second place is The Alhambra, Grenada, Spain this is Spain's biggest attraction each year getting about 2.3 million visitors per year. To walk to it, it has a rather steep slope to get to it but once you get there it is a very beautiful place. It is split up into 3 sections of the place and it has so much history there. That is why so many people go there each year just because it is a nice place and because of all of its history. I have not been there but it seems pretty cool. I didn’t even know about it until this assignment but I would like to visit it sometime. …show more content…
This showed the power of the Romans because of how good and hard the Gladiators fought and it also showed the expanse of the Roman empire because of all the animals big and exotic animals that were brought here. This was back in the early AD’s. I would like to visit here just because all the history that has taken place inside and to see the insides and how big it is. I have never been here
