Acma Task Analysis Essay

The purpose of this task was to research guidelines and ratings from the ACMA website and write report. After writing the report, the aim was to create a storyboard suitable for preschool children providing the requirements from the ACMA website.
The decision made was to create a suitable and an appropriate storyboard for preschool children requiring the ACMA guidelines. The chosen story “Goldilocks and the bears” was selected as it related to the requirements of the task.
Preparation for the task was appropriate, as I needed to research what ACMA is and what the standards and guidelines are, in relation to children’s television shows aired in Australia. Researching made an impact because when I started the assignment it made it easier to talk

However, I didn’t know how to present the storyboard in a creative way. Finding a way to present the storyboard was challenging as I kept changing my mind of what story I wanted to do and how I should create, it.Time was managed well as I used lesson time wisely but I also .completed some of it at home,

The strengths of the task was that I was able to take some inspiration from the original story “Goldilocks and the three bears” and make it similar to mine as I took aspects from it and put it on my storyboard. Therefore, this worked well as it was similar to the original but in a modern way. A weakness from doing this task was coming up with a story to focus on and being able to change it. If I were to create the storyboard again I would make the pictures more effective so it stands out. The end result of the storyboard was at a high standard because it was suitable for preschool children.
The task was to research guidelines and standards from the ACMA, then use the knowledge from the website to create a storyboard providing the requirements making it suitable for preschool children. The task was a success as I developed a research report and storyboard for preschool aged children called “Goldilocks and the bears”. Overall, it met my expectations as it contained the requirements of the task

The Two Bite Club, written by Jan Adams and Annie Lunsford, explores the concept of childhood nutrition through the story of Will and Anna trying new foods from each food group. The story develops through thirty nine pages filled with colorful illustrations of the different foods they find all throughout their house. The font used in the story book resembles that of an adult’s handwriting and the first letter of the first word on each page is emphasized in a large, purple, and bold font. This easily draws the attention of a preschooler as one is reading and flipping through the pages. The language spoken by Will and the mother is complex and detailed while Anna speaks with short and simple sentences, similar to other preschoolers.…

Write of what parts of the text were the most difficult to read, and to identify how many times a passage was read before some understanding was achieved. This has been actually one of my best weeks so far, week 6. The topics were linear equations and non linear equations and I was able to remember about them so this time my brain was not that disconnected as normally is with algebra which made me happy. Do not get me wrong, I still had to read multiple times some sections that caused a little confusion, but again it was not that bad and at the end everything came back to me, this time it was a lot easy for me to figure out some of the book samples, except of course the ones that had multiple fractions I am still under pressure with those.…

I can tell from your writing, you probably pay close attention to detail when preparing your lesson plans. I always try to explain my reasoning and help it create flow, especially if someone else is trying to teach from my plan. Your outline would make it very easy to create and implement a lesson plan from your analysis and strategies.…

Introduction: Child development involves emotional, physical, sociable, and intellect changes over a period from conception through adolescence. Childhood is a multifaceted process in which many changes occur. To fully understand the changes throughout childhood, one interview and observation was conducted to a toddler perspective, and a second interview and observation was implemented on a school-age child. Vast changes arise from infancy and toddlerhood, jumping to later childhood, and that was deceptive when comparing the outcomes from the two observations. Alex, who is eight years old, was the topic of the school-age child interview and observation.…
