It kind of stings, but the feeling replaces itself with more of a calming sensation. I open a cabinet and pull out an antibiotic cream to smear on the wound. It smells, but I place it on anyway. Soon after, I carefully place a square bandage on it. Doing this process hurt me a little, but I know it’s good for me. At least that’s what I’ve been told. Following the routine, I ignore the words my mother shoots at me. At this point, I’m not sure what I think of the titles she assigns me. So, I let my fingers do all the work of tying my shoelaces, grabbing my stuff, and turning the doorknob

Evidence-Based Project Wound Care Education for Health Care Provider The problem in focus is that medical practitioners lack the proper knowledge in the care and treatment of wounds that eventually either prolongs the duration for healing or results in the further development of the injury. In a study conducted by Connolly and Schumann (2014), nurses were found to be habitual when it came to offering of treatment recommendations on various degrees of wounds. To that effect, a blanket issue of instructions on self-care of minor degree burns, a cut, or a sprain developed consistent outcomes in the evaluation of nurse’s behavior. Consequently, nurses and other medical practitioners often overlook simple attributes such as analysis of different…
