Achilles was a very handsome and heroic man. He had a lot of scars from all of his battles that he has had. He was very tall around 6’4”. He wanted nothing but to kill hector and to leave him there to be eaten by the dogs and birds. He went to kill Hector and nothing was going to change his mind he was ready and very prepared. He had his reasons for wanting to kill Hector and Hector knew that. My thoughts were that Achilles had been holding onto this feeling for a very long time which made him hate Hector more and more over time. His hate grew so fast and he was holding it in for so long that when it came time Hector didn’t stand a chance. Hector wasn’t going to go down without a fight even if he knew what the future

Achilles would be a good looking guy if he wasn’t covered in scars. Hector had quite a few scars himself. Hector wasn’t bad looking either but he just wasn’t enough to take on the great Achilles. Hector wasn’t ready to take Achilles on but he was brave for what he did. He knew what was to come. Achilles was a very mean man to Hector and he had his reasons for being that way. He had his plan and he was going to stick to it no matter what. Hector asked Achilles to take him back to his people after he was killed. Achilles wasn’t going to do anything for Hector he hated the man. He was going to follow his plan all the way through and make Hector suffer from what he has done. Achilles won the battle and left Hector there to suffer and die a horrible death. This part of the story is important because it showed how Achilles got his revenge and Hector was not going to go down without a fight. Achilles left Hector to be eaten by the wild dogs and the birds. Achilles wanted there to be nothing left of Hector the dogs and birds ate the meat off of him and the dogs took off with the bones. Hector died defending himself he knew what the future held for him and he knew that’s how it had to be it was going to happen sooner or later so he took it like a man. I think Achilles should have at least taken him back to his family and friends so he could have his burial. But Hector knew it was how Achilles wanted it to be
