Running was the ultimate test of speed; covering the arenas track from one end to another, about two hundred meters. Soon a loud booming voice was heard announcing, “Contestants to the start.” Achilles and Ale ended up running side by side. Both were running the same speed, not being able to outrun the other. Sweat dripping and both breathing heavily, they were each striving to get first place. About half way through, Achilles heard a loud thump and suddenly saw that Ale was no longer running by him. He looked around and saw Ale struggling to get up. “He must have hurt his leg,” Achilles though to himself. Achilles was so close to the finish line, so close to fulfilling his dream. With only about fifty meters left to go he started debating if he should go and help or not. Millions of thoughts were racing through his mind. At twenty five meters he turned around to go help Ale, and the crowd went wild. Achilles reached Ale, helped him up and they both walked to the finish
