Tommy Hilfiger is an American clothes designer who had a dream that became a very successful reality. Everybody has a dream that they hope to accomplish. The reality of my dream arrived, on October 6, 2011 the day that I always had been waiting for. The sky was painfully blue. I was still in Cape Verde, my families members and friends were all there in the living room, the walls was the brightest yellow the windows and the doors were open, we all had about the same height ,but the older ones were the tallest. I started to hug all my families members and friends, some of them even started to cry. I also cried because I knew that I wouldn’t see them for a long period of time. As we were getting near the airport I just kept crying as if the entire world, and all of beauty had come to an end. I sobbed as if I was a small child lost in a new big city. I was in a plane full of people but I still felt as if I was alone. Crying till I felt asleep. I got to the United States at night, there were lights everywhere, everything was different, even the people. Seeing this beautiful place I couldn’t believe what my eyes were seeing. I saw my mother who I hadn’t see for five years. When got here I was extremely happy. The next day, I meet with some of my families, and had an amazing time. Three weeks later I was ready to go to school, but at the same time I was really frightened because I didn’t know how to speak English and I didn’t know how people would react with my presence. When I went to school everything was different. Nobody talked to me at all, I got lost on my way to class, I had many abstruse with English. When I tried to say a word in English my classmates would make fun of me because of my accent. I started to practice English more by reading books and watching TV shows. I started to learn step by step like, a child learning how to
