My Goals Essay For College

To execute a goal, a person must have everything mapped out first. I have been learning this since the sixth grade and have come to realize how true this is. To be successful with my education, I have been told to make sure I am working at my full potential and keeping everything in line. This applies specifically to my college education. Achieving success requires time management, stress management, and ambition, as it all works together to complete any goal. Setting a goal, whether it be academic or personal, needs to be established on a certain schedule. If the goal is a short-term or long-term goal, then the time-frame needs to be set in place. Putting all of the work that has to be done off until the last minute is not the best …show more content…
It is important to have the drive to succeed before acting upon anything. Otherwise, doing all of that work would be pointless if you are not getting anything out of it. For example, I have had the desire to accomplish a task that I have not done. This task was to get a grade of B or higher in my last high school English class. That desire inspired me to work hard for it. I made sure I kept up with all assignments by staying as organized as I could. With projects, I would cut my workload into sections, to make sure I had it done. This class had all of my focus. This process earned me three A 's and one B in each quarter. Ambition is the basis behind becoming organized, managing your time, managing your stress. This is evident in students that do not try to get the highest grade they possibly can. They simply do not have the drive to do so. This trinity of success has proven to be effective, in more ways than one. It has gotten me through my sophomore year and. I have been working on an academic goal to do well in my first semester of college, which has work so far. My personal goal to become more involved in the field of music is also in progress. With the ambition to complete these goals, and the only two parts of my process that I have to deal with under control, I will be done with these goals soon enough. My road to success has only
