It is important to have the drive to succeed before acting upon anything. Otherwise, doing all of that work would be pointless if you are not getting anything out of it. For example, I have had the desire to accomplish a task that I have not done. This task was to get a grade of B or higher in my last high school English class. That desire inspired me to work hard for it. I made sure I kept up with all assignments by staying as organized as I could. With projects, I would cut my workload into sections, to make sure I had it done. This class had all of my focus. This process earned me three A 's and one B in each quarter. Ambition is the basis behind becoming organized, managing your time, managing your stress. This is evident in students that do not try to get the highest grade they possibly can. They simply do not have the drive to do so. This trinity of success has proven to be effective, in more ways than one. It has gotten me through my sophomore year and. I have been working on an academic goal to do well in my first semester of college, which has work so far. My personal goal to become more involved in the field of music is also in progress.
