As a senior in high school, my main goal is to graduate and to follow the path into becoming a nurse. As a nurse, I want to provide medical assistance to disadvantaged communities all around the world. I want to create a movement that promotes compassion and advocates the improvement of the lives of the less fortunate. I want I make my parents proud and to show them my gratitude for all their sacrifices. I also want to make an impact in the world. My goal in life is to ease to world's pain. I know that achieving these goals will not be easy and that I will face many hardships. I know that I will be discouraged and my faith might diminish. My endurance, patience, and dedication will also be tested. With all that aside, I know that the end result …show more content…
Moving to a new state and starting over has its advantages and disadvantages. My family has a better life here but we are faced with more expenses. I have big aspirations in life that require a lot of time and money. I plan to achieve my goals by taking every opportunity that is offered to me. Since I am considered an out-of-state student by the state of Texas, I plan on attending community college and then transferring. This would allow my family to save money and I would be able to balance other things. I plan on being a Certified Nurse Aide so that I can be introduced to the nursing world while also getting experience. After I finish a couple years of community college, I will transfer to a university and pursue a bachelors degree in Nursing. When I enter the work force, I will then get more exposure in a hospital setting before continuing to become a nurse practitioner. Once I am a nurse practitioner, I will send my parents home to the Philippines so that they may retire and spend their days without worry. My main goal in life is to insure that my parents are happy.
