Achieving my Goals My personal goal is to be able to use my college education to prepare me to bring about change in both my country and the wider world. However, under the current system, my ability to pursue this goal is seriously constrained. While I have received some academic scholarships from Albion College, a substantial difference exists between what I have received and what I am expected to pay. Even though it is only one thousand dollars, every cent will make my life, and more importantly, the lives of my parents, easier. As I would like to work for the State Department as a diplomat, graduate school is a necessity for that line of work.
