Achieving my Dream
When I was younger, one piece of advice has always stuck with me. I was told not to be a sheep and to do what I wanted to do and not what others wanted me to do. I've tried to live my life this way, not being a superficial person and being as genuine as I possibly could. I truly believe this mindset it crucial to being happy in life. With that being said I feel that my dream and the state of being happy are synonymous with each other. As long as I live life on my own accord I believe I will be happy. Experiences, family, and career are three important pillar for my dream scenario in life. I am the type of person that never likes to stay stagnant in life. I always jump at the opportunity to go cool places and I never prioritize sitting inside opposed to going out. So when I get older I don’t want to turn into that person who stays in the same place for forever never getting out and experiencing the things the world has to offer.I have long term goals to go on trips to different places in europe such as Belgium and Germany for an extended

I plan on someday owning my own business but short term I want to be able to be successful in college to have the tools necessary to be happy with my career. Being in the workplace will take up a significant portion of my life that is why it is important to me to pick the right job and work hard to be inexpendable once I am in the work field. I know a strong career will assure me a better tomorrow, prepares me for upcoming challenges and give’s me a perfect reason to strive forward. All of this is essential to achieving my dream reality in life. I do want to emphasize that I want work to be an important part of my life but not my life. It should be a passion of mine but I look to balance out all other aspects of my life and not be too caught up in one. Which is the obstacle I am afraid to stumble over when it is my time to start my career

Everything has a meaning or at least a purpose that helps everyone work toward a goal. Like in the novel The Great Gatsby, a green light on Daisy’s dock that Gatsby always gazes upon is a great meaning to him and most of the characters in the book. It symbolizes an unattainable dream or like a hazy future that one must work toward to gain that goal. F. Scott Fitzgerald places the green light there to bring hope not just for him but for others who also read the book that what to reach a goal.…

Einstein once said, “If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things.” I look at this quote as inspiration as to what it would take for me to consider my life successful in 30 years. I think what Einstein is trying to say is that life is too short to worry about what others think and constantly be trying to accumulate better “stuff”. Personally, I view life as a series of experiences, some good some bad, but I view all these experiences as new opportunities to learn and grow.…
