As an accounting technician I would be responsible in keeping a systematic record of the business transaction. For example, when I become the accounting technician I will be in charge of bank deposits and reconcile of bank transactions. I also will assist with the account receivable and payable, ledgers and journals. In others words I will definitely have to get my “Time Management Skills” a little sharper than what they are now. Not only for that part of the job but the calculating and preparing and processing of reports which all have deadlines that have to be met. Also I will have other duties assign to me and I am expected to keep those duties up to date as well.
