"If you haven't fallen off a horse... then you haven't been riding long enough", is a rodeo saying that defines my past and has helped clarify my plans for the future. My past successes, experiences and struggles have fostered personal and professional growth; this growth partnered with a strong family support system and planned study times scheduled as priority; enable me to confidently pursue admittance in the Masters of Professional Accounting program at Colorado State University- Global Campus. This development has clarified my knack for quantitative analysis, the management tool I have found most successful in my professional endeavors; cultivating my objective to further my education and focus in on one field in business, accounting. …show more content…
When motivated by numbers, either financially or competitively, I succeed; proven by my exponential growth within my current company. I naturally understand key performance indicators, EBITDA results and most importantly translate these numbers into systematic procedures to improve performance and profitability. This personal and professional growth I have found from structured communication of processes and consistent measurement of results has driven my passion to learn more about the language of business, accounting. I am seeing to continue and grow in a career where I can make an impact, while sustaining a strong work-life balance. My current position meets these goals; I want to continue to grow and exceed them. I am fortunate to have an encouraging partner in life that is fully supporting my decision to continue my education. We have been planning for the past six months to create the atmosphere, time and financial stability needed to confidently continue my education; we are ready to execute our plan. Specifically, once accepted and classes begin, we have an approved plan with each of our employers that will facilitate one full day and three weekly four hour sessions devoted to my studies, uninterrupted by outside responsibilities. We are confident in the future and that we will continue to support a healthy home/work/school life
