Many people may not like math related majors because there are too many numbers and it is very boring and tough. Especially the accounting major, which is the major that I am having right now, is a big disaster for most students. However, I also did not expect to choose accounting major until one accident happened on me.

At the beginning of my college life, my major is computer science because when I was young, I was always dreaming to become a programmer and a hacker to do whatever I want. However, one day, manager Mart had a conversation with me saying that it was close to tax period, so let me have some tax accounting classes in order to meet the requirement of filling tax. I accepted because I wanted to know how hard the accounting class is and if I could handle them. So I took ACCTG 321 in CSULA, which is a tax accounting class. Also, there was even a tax called death tax! Which means people have to submit taxes upon their death. Though there were lots of knowledge points that I need to remember, I passed the class and had a better understanding about the accounting. After having the class, I could explain the detailed question regarding their personal tax like only full time students with 24 years-old or less could be claimed as dependent and gave them …show more content…
Also, the accounting major has wider future than the Computer Science major for the taxes are everywhere and people yet corporations need CPAs to do professions for them. In addition, personally I think the accounting major is more interesting and has deeper knowledge than the computer science major. There are too many taxes and accounting professions needs. Despite the fact that computer science major would provide people a better understanding of computer and it helps a lot in the future high-tech society, its pros outweigh cons. I do love to make accounting to be my

Some of the careers associated with the finance major also allow me to travel, which is also something I am interested in. Since I am not interested in being at a job where I perform the same tasks every day, accounting was not the right major for me.…
