However, one day, manager Mart had a conversation with me saying that it was close to tax period, so let me have some tax accounting classes in order to meet the requirement of filling tax. I accepted because I wanted to know how hard the accounting class is and if I could handle them. So I took ACCTG 321 in CSULA, which is a tax accounting class. It was really a hard class because it talked about the personal tax and how to fill a tax return. I never knew there were so many taxes in the United States that I need to remember them all. For example, there is gift tax, which means there is a value limit for people receiving gifts and receiver need to reported as income if exceed certain amount. Also, there was even a tax called death tax! Which means people have to submit taxes upon their death. Though there were lots of knowledge points that I need to remember, I passed the class and had a better understanding about the accounting. Also, the accounting major has wider future than the Computer Science major for the taxes are everywhere and people yet corporations need CPAs to do professions for them. In addition, personally I think the accounting major is more interesting and has deeper knowledge than the computer science major. There are too many taxes and accounting professions needs. Despite the fact that computer science major would provide people a better understanding of computer and it helps a lot in the future high-tech society, its pros outweigh cons. I do love to make accounting to be my
