The darker side of this is that lying thought Photoshop is ultimately trying to lie about your body, which present serious issues for many people (Osterndorf Par. 22). Sometimes users look thinner than how they really are. That affects their self stem, eating habits and a psychological disorder. People have hundreds of different types of jobs. Certain percent of those people have an account on Facebook where they expose themselves in a good or a bad way. Most of the time, when companies are hiring employees, they want to know about the people the companies will hire According to Jessica Simko in “How Facebook Can Affect Your Job,” “When a company is looking for their future leaders, they are looking for highly professional individuals with high levels of integrity and work ethic” (par. 3). Those companies look in the different types of social media as Facebook to inquire things about the employees’ last job, how these people behave and with whom they relate. That information can facilitate them to decide if this individual will be the best job candidate. In addition, even when people do not post thing about their job on Facebook, it can affect them. Simko also argues, “You can write something completely unrelated to work and still destroy your reputation” (par. 4).
