The class that I am having trouble with the most is science. I want to learn harder in my science class and pay attention to what the teacher is talking about and explaining.I think it’s hard because you learn about the planet and other stuff and sometimes I just don’t understand what they mean. We have vocabulary words every week. I read the definition of the word but I just sometimes understand it. Math class is not the hardest class but it’s also not the easiest class. I understand most of the things that the teacher teaches us but then when they add new things to the lesson, that is when I don’t understand it. My last class that I want to set a goal at is my elective class law & Justice. I’m not really sure if that class is going to be hard or not since, I barely moved in to that class. My goal for that class is to try to learn as much as I can and need to. That is my goal because when I go to the 8th grade I am going to want to choose a pathway for law & Justice for high school. Those are my goals for other classes and I am going to try my best on each and every one of them. I am going to at least study 30 minutes a day for every quiz I

I will be taking general chemistry and biology—both are the foundation of their field. When I master the material taught in those classes, I will be better prepared for my future courses in chemistry and biology. Since I was in elementary school, my father emphasized the importance of understanding the material rather than just knowing and getting the correct answer. I followed his advice, but I did not actually see the difference between knowing and understanding until spring 2014.…

One goal I wish I had worked a little harder towards would be my participation in class discussions. I have always been really shy and especially quiet in class. Oftentimes I would know the answer to a question or have an idea, but not matter how hard I tried, I could not bring myself to raise my hand. I wish I had improved on this skill because in the upcoming years, it will become crucial for me to participate in class discussions. Another goal that I did not meet was improving my nonverbal delivery skills.…
