Exceeding Expectations in Quality Service "Be Our Guest" is a book that aims to help share the successful practices of the company that is known throughout the world as one of the most successful and iconic companies in entertainment. Walt Disney's vision and dream for his company grew and surpassed anything he could have imagined, even after he passed away. "Be Our Guest" tells how this multi-billion dollar company came to be the incredible success that it is today. The first chapter begins with an explanation of the "magic" that Disney is known for. This "magic" is simply the art of giving the guest something remarkable that they cannot get anywhere else. The magic works by taking people out of their own hectic life, and puts them into a place of wonder and magic. The magical experience that keeps Disney's customers coming back for more, is nothing more than a diligent pursuit of excellence in meeting, and exceeding, all of their guests wants and needs. It is making every effort to provide the guest with the most enjoyable stay possible. This requires something called "practical magic", which is really just a systematic way of doing everything with excellence to project a magical feeling and ensure the guests satisfaction.
