Obviously, my soccer mates and soccer environment growing up helped shape me into the person I am today. The fact that I went to Spain during the summers and on holidays throughout my childhood is what raised my interest in soccer and its environment. The soccer community has helped me grow as a person. Through being part of the soccer community growing up, I have learned more about myself. I have learned how the soccer environment suits me and which I can’t do without.…
The panyee soccer team is a team that started in a small island that had no soccer field. This team went from watching soccer on their tv to playing soccer and going to places to verse other teams these kids showed that anything is possible. They built their own soccer field/court on the water. The villagers doubted them and still kept trying. They found scraps of wood and built a full platform out of it.…
In the story, Panyee Soccer Club these boys got made fun of and lost a big tournament, but pushed through and are now in a pro league. The Panyee Soccer Club short teaches me to never give up. The Panyee Soccer Club shows this through the beginning where the villager makes fun of them but they follow through with their idea and build a pitch. Another part of the Panyee Soccer Club video is in the middle, they were losing in the tournament and thought it was over, but they kept on fighting and tied it up, and most of all, at the very end it showed them as world champions which they followed through on their dreams. In the beginning story is when they thought of being professional soccer and created a team.…
Whether it was football, soccer, basketball, or baseball, I enjoyed coaching and interacting with the children. Through coaching, I found a way to give back to the community. I realized I could make a positive impact by combining my passion for sports and my ability to connect with youth athletes. To be an influential youth sports…
Extracurricular activities like the FFA and 4-H Organizations, help students, like me, gain experience in a variety of areas that will enhance our future. Through participation in these organizations, I have learned cooperation, teamwork and time management. By serving as an officer, I have also gained responsibility, as well as problem solving and communication skills. FFA has opened doors to new leadership roles at both a local and multi-county level. I have been given the opportunity to serve as Teutopolis Chapter and Section 20 Reporter and Vice President.…
One of the most crucial milestones in my lifetime was making the Broken Arrow High School soccer Team. I didn’t think I deserved to make the team; so I was appalled when I did. To comprehend why making the soccer team is a significant milestone for me, you must know a little about my soccer career. I have played soccer for as long as I can remember. I began playing soccer around the age of four with a parent taught program; ever since my interest in soccer exponentially grew.…
Addicted on playing soccer, I only have three years of experience on it. When focusing either specific technique or general tactics, I am motivated by the attraction of this sport so that I always pursue to become the best player of my team. Leading the school team to win the champion as vice captain and organizing the school club as vice president in China, competing with top club players who have a dozen year of training in US and keeping a professional diet every day, I never stop to hear from the voice of my…
Eventually, a month before my first semester at Montgomery College started, the soccer team began with full-force, demanding prospective players to go through a harsh two session per day, seven days a week pre-season. Under the coaching of the demanding yet respectable Pedro Braz, the team and I were embedded with the idea that we had to become discipline and fit in order to raise up to the challenge of keeping the victorious legacy that he had built since his arrival two years ago. Personally, I had never gone through such an intense period of physical work in my entire life, in some instances almost to the point of complete exhaustion. Two weeks, 24 three-hour-sessions later, and our first friendly match in pre-season arrived. I can hardly remember any moments of that game, but I can remember what I felt standing on the pitch waiting to play the game as if I had that moment tattooed on my arm; I felt euphoric at the thought of have completed a pre-season that only very few people could have…
While I was in high school, I was able to letter in five different sports. (Ice hockey, XC, track and field, softball and basketball). I have had many opportunities to form different kinds of discipline, different ways to get my mind working and different views on how to take in/embrace things. I feel that because of my experiences, I can help teach students better understand a sport. I got offered a job as a basketball coach last year and I was able to put all of this into action.…
About seven years ago I set a goal to advocate for a co-op soccer team at my school. I had played since I was three years old and was dreaming of playing during high school. This came to the forefront of my vision when I entered high school, so I talked to the athletic director, school board, and parents to persuade them to support a soccer team. Through this, the school finally joined a co-op for not only the girls, but a co-op for the boys as well. This came together my junior year of high school, which then opened up a new goal of mine.…
During my time at St.Dominic, I have been a part of numerous activities such as Cheerleading, Student Council Class Cabinet, Ambassadors Club, FBLA, and Glamour Gals. I feel some of my bigger accomplishments are from participating in Future Business Leaders of America(FBLA) and Cheer. In my first year of joining FBLA, I ranked fourth in the distract for my division and was asked back to compete in state. Joining these organizations was important to me because it was a great way for me to get involved in my school and prepare for my future. Cheer however stands out in my mind as the activity that greatly impacts me because it has taught me the meaning of teamwork and perseverance.…
Person High School has also helped me discover who I am as a young adult and establish better social skills through my involvement in their Varsity Soccer Team. My involvement taught me how to work with people outside my social group. Many times you don’t get to choose the person you will work a task with, or who you have to help, and sometimes that person isn’t someone you get along with. If a task is hard and undesirable, it doesn’t mean you give up; it means you should work hard to finish it with a positive attitude. Through high school soccer you learn the values of disciplines, honesty and responsibility.…
These skills contributed to my literacy in the sport of soccer. While I was growing up, playing soccer helped me obtain literacy in the area of hard work. Long practices, never ending film sessions and hard fitness workouts contributed to my core understanding of what hard work actually was. In addition, day in and day out, my soccer coaches would preach that greatness comes from the grit of…
The sport also endures hardships on many people in the world. Firstly soccer had a positive influence…
In reflection of my learning experience, I was originally not completely sure if I learnt anything in my short time being involved with Lalor football club and their junior program, but as I began to think about my time and experiences, I soon realised that what I had learnt was actually quite a lot and of a huge value to me. Being involved in this amazing program that the Lalor football club provides I was given an incredible insight into many different facets of learning. For example, I got to experience how people were able to work together to create a family friendly, safe and welcoming football club that everyone is welcome to be involved in, the junior program is a key example of this as being involved in it I was able to see how safe…
