When a follow up questionnaire was given in reference to the lack of parental involvement results suggested that the need was more focused on money and not the lack of parental involvement as it correlates with student academics. The concept was then review and asked for the identification of what needs would be in the best interest of the school and the students. Data was collected from a sample population of parents and teachers. The results from these sample indicated that the school needed to address the reading scores of students on the End of the Grade Test. The parents also indicated that they were concerned about how the students are being supported when they do not reach the testing expectation and the process after. There were clearly some concerns at Carroll Middle School that really needed to be answer to find out what the true need within the building. The data indicated that there was a concern with the students End of the Grade scores. Apparently the majority of the African American students are classified as Students with Disability and Limited English Proficiency. Therefore these students are entering into the program but are not being successful when it come the End of Grade
