Personal Statement: Pursuing A Career

My academic interests are start when I was young. I did not know what is it but I know I like it. It is management. My father has a small business. I always went to work with him at his office when I was young. I saw my father work and I want to be like him. I was happy to help my father to do situation analysis or SWOT analysis. I also like to help him do the research. I like to read business news. I like to buy magazine about marketing. My mother is a banker. She taught me about financial plan and basic accounting. I bought debenture since I was 18 year old. I kwon all of the investments are risk. I study the information and do the research before making a decision to invest. Business is challenge to me. Management program is that I want to be a postsecondary teacher in my country Thailand. It is my career goal for 7 years. If I want to be successful in my career, get a higher position at work and get high rate salary, I will have to be study in the same department or field as my graduate degree. I have to follow the requirements of the new rules for postsecondary teacher in Thailand. I graduated in B. A. Management program. I have to continue study M.A. Management program. If I am a postsecondary but I do not study the same field, my research paper will not accept for job evaluation. The second reason, It is major that allows students to learn how to analyze, organize, and manage and also, the knowledge can be further applied not only my career goal postsecondary teacher but in many career. I can be postsecondary teacher and I still can help my farther to run his business. The last reason, I know what I like. I know what I can do grate after I took some class from the other major. I am enjoy to study all the class in management program. I feel it is fun to learn and it can use in the real life. I read all the information. DBU has many majors in management program. M.A. Management is direct to my graduate degree. All the class subject is fulfilling the requirement of me. Web site is easy to find the information for international student and all the staff is friendly. I find DBU a prestigious university and it is accepted by several leading institutions in my country Thailand. I went to see university envelopment and location. I like the envelopment. The location is easy to find and it is not too far from my apartment that mean I can stay late at library for study and do the paper. I also know some DBU students and alumni. All of them also told me DBU is a grate university for management. The classes are smaller than the university and teach by professional
