Plagiarism, cheating and academic dishonesty are some of the many topics discussed within Pace University’s Academic Integrity Code. The main purpose of this code is to create awareness on proper academic misconduct, deter plagiarism and to create procedures on how to handle misconduct. If a student is suspected of academic dishonesty, they will meet with the Committee Chair, where there is a possibility of resolving the issue amongst the student and complainant. Otherwise, the Committee will hold a hearing. Students who commit acts of misconduct are eligible to report themselves by a written statement to the Committee Chair.
