Many of the strengths, such as basic academic behaviors, time management, class attendance and course difficulties, I have acquired through high school. I started taking AP classes since I was a sophomore in high school, which forced me to manage my time so I get my homework done and have time not only for the volunteer opportunities I was involved in, but have time for myself, my family and my friends. My parents always told me that school comes first and I’ve followed that advice. I would get my work done and then do whatever it was that I pleased and it payed off. I’m not surprised that this was one of my weaknesses. Though my parents are helping me out during college such as giving me money necessary for food and clothes and paying things like my phone bill, paying for college is all up to me. I have already taken out a loan for this school year and thankfully my I had my brother-in-law help me and guide me through the application process. I ended up choosing the $25 a month in-school payments as that was the best option. My dad offered to pay this $25 a month while I’m in school and I’m thankful for that, but once I graduate that responsibility will fall on me. What I’m most nervous about is finding a job after I graduate so I that I will be able to make these payments and the additional payments that will come with the loan.
