Over the past few years, I have become more aware of the abuse that has been going on in the shop by seeing it myself and hearing it from friends. Instead of being in pens where they move around and interact with people and animals as all animals should, they are kept in stacked cages behind glass. They’re walking on metal bars, have limited space to move and no water or food in their cages. Not to mention selling abusive items and mistreating the pets. Puppies need three to four meals and access to water, they have no access to water unless someone brings it to them, and they only get fed twice a day. These dogs spend weeks if not months in their cages rarely ever leaving them and sleeping on metal racks above their own feces. One employee along the lines mentioned that the bars inside the cages is covered in latex so it doesn’t injure the pets.
