The book Animal Farm, published in 1945 and written by George Orwell is a novel depicting the difference between human and animal behavior. Throughout the story Orwell demonstrates how power is used throughout the book through the characters Jones, Snowball and Napoleon. Orwell manifests how some characters use their power to better the farm, however, he also shows how power can be used to corrupt the farm and the animals which inhabit it. Jones is the owner of the Farm he demonstrates his power by being a dictator and ruling over the animals with an iron fist. None of the animals show respect to Jones because Orwell characterized Jones to use his powers against the animals. Jones has a policy when “the very day that those great muscles
