Abuse is a very serious issue, and is not something to be taken lightly. In today’s society it is a huge problem and a lot of people suffer from this problem. Not just women are victims of abuse like a lot of people think. Men and children also suffer from this horrible thing. Abuse does not just involve physical violence, but many other things as well. Although it is not the only form of abuse, Physical Abuse is one of the major forms abuse that a lot of people suffer from. There are some immediate reactions that can occur when some undergoes sexual abuse and those can include shock and fear or disbelief. Long term symptoms can include anxiety, fear, or post-traumatic stress disorder. Signs that someone is being sexual abused are bruising around the genital areas, if there are any unexplained genital infections or venereal diseases, and lastly if a person 's underclothing is torn, ripped, or bloody.
