When she was alone, in her dark, hopeless room, her heart raced, her hands got clammy. All she could think about was what she could’ve possibly done wrong. Her guilt took over, she leaned over and grabbed a razor. As she pulled her sleeve up, one slice at a time, every cut is one time she thought she messed up in life. Her mind is scattered in a million different directions. She feels so alone, a feeling she’s never felt before. As her arms and legs drip with bright red blood, she cries. Her tears represent the pain no one’s ever seen before. She’s seen as a happy, outgoing girl, but what they don't know is that she’s hurt. She’s so anxious, asking herself what she’s possibly done wrong to deserve such pain, the torture he’s put her through. Her dad abuses her. Every hit, every argument makes her feel a little more worthless. her name is Alexis, Alexis Robinson. This all begun for Alexis 10 years ago. She was 3 years old...so innocent and sweet. Nothing she could do to stop the abuse. She was bruised head to toe, but no one thought twice about it. They saw it as a clumsy 3 year old.
