This short passage outlines what this leader did to improve his land. This packet summarizes everything that the leaders in the 1700’s did. I find this source to be reliable because all the information is fairly accurate. This paragraph can support my thesis because it relates to point three, of my thesis about agriculture. This a textbook . This talks about how the leaders made the 1700’s (age of absolutism) better. I find this source to be very credible because it is written by experts who researched a lot about these historical events. This supports my thesis because it helps prove point 1 and 2. In the book it says, on page 443, “Catherine proved to be an efficient, energetic, empress. She reorganized the provincial government, codified laws, and began state- sponsored education for boys and girls.” This source relates to my other sources about the government. This quote explains how she was really efficient and how she always made sure everything ran well and she cared about education because she sponsored it. I could use this source to support another source, such as my other source about Catherine the Great because they both relate to each other. This article summarizes about Peter I. This source is credible because it is written by experts, who are very experienced with these topics. This supports my thesis because in the article it talks about how he sponsored education and that relates to my thesis about education. In the article it explains how Peter I, enforced education. It states, “ Various secular schools were opened; and since too few pupils came from the nobility, the children of soldiers, officials, and churchmen were admitted to them. In many cases, compulsory service to the state was preceded by compulsory education for it. Russians were also permitted to go abroad for their education and indeed were often compelled to do so (at the state’s expense). This relates to my other sources, that I found because most of them are about education and how each leader cared about prospering
