In every society, the people will contribute to every meaning of the work. The great gatsby shows what every character does in contrast of the values in the past for the present. Time can foretell what the personal relationship for what they are. The poor and rich takes part of the values in the present. Although, many people see the poor to be less fortuante and the rich which shows absolute power, but in reality it shows the fall of one of the characters. In the beginning, Gatsby shows it's absolute riches in where it attracts people to the massive parties, that he always attend.
