Argumentative Essay On Noumena

Hello Khadijah
It was a pleasure for me to explain and share my knowledge about HPS100 with you the other day. Also, thank you for the email. It was interesting to read about the newly created software, Noumena, by tech company KAN+. However, in my opinion, I do not agree with KAN+ and there are still several errors in Noumena to bring the absolute knowledge in empirical science.
Before I talk about my opinion on Noumena, I think it is better off to briefly remind you about fallibilism and the three main problems of the absolute knowledge in empirical science. Do you remember the two types of science that I explained the other day? The two types are formal science and empirical science. Formal sciences include logic, mathematics, game theory

However, I strongly disagree with KAN+ because Noumena is a theory-laden software that is created by human beings with their intelligence, senses and knowledge from the previously accepted theories. In the article, KAN+ states that: “Noumena allows user to experience the world beyond the limitations and imperfections of normal bodily perception.” This quotation signifies that Noumena is developed by the scientists to fix the imperfections of normal bodily perception. However, on the other hand, this also implies that their knowledge in human biology and its related theories are inserted in the algorithm to correct the limitations of the human body perceptions. Thus, we can conclude that Noumena is theory laden. Similarly, when the scientists first developed the cutting-edge algorithms, they would have used their knowledge in mathematical algorithms, computer science and some theories that analyze human body. For instance, in order to identify and filter out the biases and subjectivity of human theories, Noumena must perfectly understand the possible flaws in human perceptions and sensations, which require the knowledge from psychology and human biology. Therefore, the cutting-edge algorithm is based on the previously accepted theory as well. To sum up, since Noumena is an algorithm built with previously accepted theories, rather than the true statements of fact, it is appropriate to conclude that observations and results from Noumena are theory-laden; problem of theory-ladeness remains

By creating more jobs, the government can keep the people occupied with a reason to get through the day without getting involved with MS 13. El Salvador is one of the many countries in poverty. Creating more jobs will be difficult, but it can be done with the collaboration of the country’s people. Elaine Denny, from the New York Times says, “A business cannot grow in a place where gangs require monthly or even weekly fees” (Denny, 2015). In many ways she could be right, that is why the violence and abuse of MS 13 has to be stopped. Businesses will not flourish unless MS 13 is stopped. People can barely afford to hire others? The only answer is by stopping MS 13 and by getting the community involved to support each other.…

Is the U.S.A justified in sending Japanese residents to Manzanar and other camps like it? Yes, the U.S. was at war with Japan and they had to take precautions because they were worried that the Japanese would interfere with the war. Griswold’s arrest and conviction finally put the Barnum Act squarely before the U.S. Supreme Court. In what may be the shortest landmark decision in Supreme Court’s history, the Court recognized a right to privacy in the “penumbras” of the Bill of Rights. Writing for the Court, Justice Douglas noted that the Court previously had recognized constitutional rights that were not expressly mentioned by the Constitution. For example, the Constitution did not expressly recognize a right to control the education of one’s children or a right of the press to distribute publications. Yet, the Court had found these rights to be an inherent part of the Constitutional fabric. Douglas reasoned that the specific guarantees of the Bill of Rights must have…

Little Nimrod is the killer because of the events that took place before the incident occurred. The first piece of evidence pointing to Little Nimrod being the killer are the dead birds lying next to the skid marks on the edge of the cliff. This is important because the birds are right next to wear C.C. Robin had been sitting before he fell. The birds seem to have been shot by a poacher, one of the things little Nimrod is. In the police report they stated that C.C. Robin had a heavy blow to the head which was the cause of death. The blow was caused by an eagle falling from the sky, after being shot by Little Nimrod. The next piece of evidence shows C.C. Robins trails down the edge of the cliff from where he fell. The skid marks on the edge of…

Robert Nozick’s argues that people would not be willing to plug into the experience machine because they would prefer to actually do the things that give them pleasure rather than to simply experience them. Nozick also believes that people, as individuals, choose to be a certain type of person; specific to them. Lastly, Nozick believes that people are deeply hard-wired to experience true human interaction. For these three reasons, Nozick believes people would not plug into the experience machine; it is the pluralism view that Nozick is referring to.…
