Death is one of the most difficult events to overcome, even if a person has a religious belief system. It’s ultimately the scariest turn of events that a person can face, as it can result in losing a best friend, a family member, or the love of your life. The death of someone special is by far the hardest thing to face, so naturally people have believed in their own religion as a form of consolation. For example, Christians believe that when someone dies they simply fall asleep. They will only wake up when Jesus comes again and the deceased to heaven with him. This is the Christian belief, but Buddhists believe something a little different. They believe that when the body dies, it disappears, but the mind continues to live on. No one wishes to receive the news that a person you love has passed away. It takes a toll on not only you, but also those around you. Unfortunately, family members will never understand why their loved one has passed, especially if their loved one has taken their own life. The absolute grief one can experience after the loss of a loved one committing suicide is overwhelming; you’ll never be able to overcome it, as your loss will always live in your memory. It’s hard to understand how one person could be so selfish and take their own life, putting their family in that much pain. Nonetheless, a family needs to move on and continue with their lives. However, when you lose someone special, you have to understand that those who care for you will always be there to help. You will never truly recover from the loss of a loved one to suicide, but it will become easier through …show more content…
However, there are healthy ways to cope with the pain, so that in time you will slowly get over your grief. There is no time line on how long your grief lasts when someone passes away. The closer one is to the person that has died, the more intense the grief will be. To fully get over a loss of a loved one, you need to express your feelings. It’s crucial that you understand there is no right and wrong when it comes to losing someone special. After you lose someone, you’ll wish to be alone. However, it is necessary that you gather support from friends and family, as you’ll need them by your side. While the pain of your loss is real, there will be a time where you need to start living your life
