God blessed Abraham and Sarah with the son, Isaac, “the Son of promise” at their old age whom God told Abraham to sacrifice him, he also agreed without complaining that he is the only one whom God promised him (Gen. 22:2, 3 NKJV). Because of his faith, Abraham was called a friend of God, all these teach us that we cannot please God without faith (Heb. 11:6 NKJV). God is not interested in rules and rituals; He wants us to have a relationship of faith with Him. Abraham was saved by his faith, not by his works; so should teach us that we should have faith in God and live faithfully so that we can be saved. Most of us do lot of works in our churches but the time we come across trials and tribulations we forget that “nothing is impossible with God” (Luke 1:37
