There are both strengths and weaknesses on Maslow’s theory based on poverty. Some of the strengths could be that the pyramid has a set guidance to parents of the children to allow them to have the knowledge of the order the child should progress and what stage the child is on to carry out activities of such to benefit the child and help them reach the next step on the pyramid to try and help the child progress at a correct pace. Although I think that going into poverty after living a life not being into poverty can have a more negative impact on children because they once had everything and suddenly went to having nothing and the sudden financial state could be too complex for children to understand at a young age.
