Abraham Lincoln was an amazing man. He was the man who ended slavery in the U.S.A. and helped us through the civil war. I am going to the Lincoln Memorial to learn more about him. I am a historian ready to learn.

As I got to the memorial I heard a loud scraping sound. I walked into the room where the giant statue of Abraham Lincoln was supposed to be only to find that it wasn’t there! I still heard the scraping sound and didn’t know what to make of it before I heard a man groaning like he was stretching.

While I was wondering what the scraping sound and where the statue were, I was shocked when I saw the 19ft statue of Abraham Lincoln just walk into the room! He then went and sat down in his chair and started to snore.
