Being Orthodox Christian teaches me that both Abraham and Moses are equally important and I cannot say that I favor one over the other. However, if I had the chance to meet only one of them I would probably choose Moses. The reason for this lies mainly in the fact that his life was one of extremes, in a way similar to the one of the founder of Buddhism Siddhartha Gautama. From being “sentenced” to death as a baby to being raised as a royalty and receiving the best education and life possible at the time, to afterwards escaping Egypt and living a simple life very different and distant from the one of a royalty.
