Medical law and ethics is a broad topic. You can agree with some laws and beliefs or you do not, but for a person to be part of the healthcare system he or she needs to be open-minded, respect other people’s beliefs or thoughts, and do what is legal and what is right. What is right for you, might not be right for another individual, but you as a healthcare professional have to learn how to adapt and accept other people’s decision. There are many topics related to medical law and ethics, three of the most common ones are Respondeat Superior: Latin: "let the master answer”, abortion, and Good Samaritan Law.

In the other hand, we have the case of an 18 years old girl, that became pregnant and she found out when she was nearly her 6th months of pregnancy and she decided to go for abortion at the hospital, she did not think twice and just went and got the abortion the first time, she felt bad and all, but then when she got pregnant two years after the first abortion, the second time she was already married, but she was having problems with her husband and was in an abusive relationship, so she decided to have a second abortion. This ruined her life and marriage, she became careless about life, she started using drugs and alcohol, she was in abusive relationships, she started dating different men, and unfortunately, she might never be able to have a baby, due to her lifestyle and previous abortions. The regrets and guilt for killing her babies has destroyed her mentally, physically, and emotionally.
As we can see based on these two different cases, that abortion is something people needs to be more careful about, and also take it serious, not everyone thinks or acts the same, but it is definitely something serious that can destroy a person’s life without even knowing it. The mental and emotional damage is tremendous and can lead to many problems in the future and without the help
