Despite popular belief, having any method of abortion will end an innocent human's life. Pro choice advocates, the media, and uneducated individuals are constantly telling us lies about what goes on during an abortion, one of which is that it is "just a blob of cells" and that it is "not even a human yet" . However, this is simply not true and life does indeed begin at contraception. Although there is a tremendous amount of evidence proving that the fetus is a human being, let's humor this argument for just a moment. If you were to see an ultrasound of a baby at only three weeks, it is what many people refer to as a "clump of cells", but this clump of cells is the start of a human life. Especially for young mothers, abortions normally affect women negatively, instead of feeling a sense of relief that the baby is gone. Psychological effects after an abortion are definitely more common than physical effects, however they can range from mild regret feeling to severe depression. This is the result of a mother instinct that develops when a female becomes pregnant to protect her baby, but when she terminates her baby it is the same feeling as losing a loved one even though the baby was unwanted. In a recent study nearly all women who had an abortion have experience some form of psychological issues or post traumatic disorder symptoms, ranging from lack of sleep to complicated nervous disorders that often go without being treated. While emotional problems are can easily be treated through different programs, there are many other risks and complications that can occur during a surgical abortion procedure, some of which include: Abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, bleeding, heavy/persistent bleeding, infection, sepsis, scarring of the uterine lining.
