It takes into consideration a woman’s right and also look out for the welfare of the fetus. Abortion should be allowed in mostly all cases (except when too late in pregnancy) and should be up to the mother to make the final decision about her future. I came to this conclusion because of the importance of the rights of the mother (a person) over the rights of the fetus (not a person). If we consider the FLO theory, we must also consider situations where a fetus could have a terrible future of suffering in forms of being born into extreme poverty, being mentally/physically retarded and enduring a life of medication and therapy. These cases would certainly not be a future like ours and an abortion would be of greater benefit to them than a possible loss of
