Abortion is the legal termination of a pregnancy within the womb before the foetus is viable. It is one of the most controversial topics in today’s society. Personally, abortion is neither right nor wrong, but about the personal circumstances. However there is a lot of controversy over the topic, many say that pro-life is a convincing argument to show abortion is undeniably wrong. Pro-life view believes that a foetus is a human being from the minute of conception therefore it has the right to live. Christian morality has been closely linked to the idea of pro-life as they believe the deliberate destruction to human life is immoral and ethically wrong. On the contrary, a more contemporary argument is pro-choice. This provides flexibility for women and gives them autonomy over their own body.
