A big question that has been going around worldwide for years is whether or not abortion should be allowed in society. There are people who believe abortion should be allowed and that it should be up to the mother because it is her body; on the other hand, there are people who wholeheartedly believe abortion should not be allowed because a baby 's life should count too. We hear a lot about abortion here in the United States of America, but it is not only going on here, abortion occurs in just about every country on earth. Abortions have been around for a very long time, but it is now becoming a hot topic here in the United States of America mostly because of the media. I can empathize with that. Women can think irrationally because they are afraid of what their family will think, they are not ready to be a parent, cannot financially support a child, or they do not have a good home life. There are so many reasons, but I still do not agree with it. Since so many girls think their only option is abortion, they miss the opportunity to find help where it might change their life in a positive way instead of through loss. There are many support groups and organizations that help young women who are pregnant and in need of counseling, mental support, talking to their parents, parenting classes for teens, etc. These can be a very positive and uplifting way for a woman who is pregnant to find help and make friends with people in similar situations so they are not alone. One example would be Focus on The Family Organization. They stated on their website,“You and your precious preborn baby are valuable beyond measure. Keep this truth in mind as you make decisions for the future.” They have great advice and are very helpful to those who are in need of it. They are not judgmental and are very understanding towards one 's life. I would suggest a family member or friend who was unexpectedly pregnant to an organization like
