Abortion should be legalized in the US because of heath condition. There are many causes in the US that the mothers cannot keep their child because of the heath condition. Sometimes, abortion is only one choice for the mother as the parturition is not an easy process, and it is risky and dangerous. In these causes, abortion is one of the answering to these situations. According to Kim Painter, “Abortions are sometimes needed to save the lives of pregnant women”. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist also claim that “Abortion are necessary in a number of circumstances to save the life of a woman or to preserve her health.” One of this example is Cecily Kellogg case. She was a 44-year-old woman who found that she had preeclampsia.
