Essay On Why Abortion Is Wrong

Abortion is Wrong Abortion should not be an option for a mother carrying a child! The mom and dad had an option before the baby had ever come along. So, if they do not want the baby/child they can suck it up for nine months and give it up for adoption when the baby comes. Abortion is a terrible thing for anyone to think or for anyone to do. Why would you want to kill an innocent baby that has done nothing to anyone? You can say that it has messed up your life but you chose to do it so you should have to suffer the consequences. When you say that the child will mess up your life the child is also saying you will mess up their life because, they know that they were a mistake and the parents will not treat them right. Do you think that abortion should be allowed? I know if you are at a certain age either way too young and too immature to be a parent or if you are too old to care for the baby/child you can always carry the child for the nine months and then …show more content…
So, why would you want to spend $950 on an abortion when you can carry it for the nine months and give it up then they both can be happy. The parents got what they wanted the baby had no choice. You can abort a baby at 24 weeks at that time the baby weighs 1 ⅓ pounds, the body is starting to become more proportional, the brain is growing fast now, and the lungs are developing. So, why would you want to kill your child it already as a life and ya’ll want to screw it up? I can understand if it is a medical situation where the baby is putting the mom at risk or if they already know that the baby can not live outside the womb. But, if you just want to because, you screwed up well, that’s sorry. A mom from New York had to had to abort her baby at 32 weeks because, it could not live outside the womb. She was pregnant before this but she had a miscarriage at 10 weeks. So, I can understand if it is a medical reason but if not, why kill an innocent

Abortion for another reason is completely immoral to me. I substantiate that life began in conception, without conception no person in the world would be born. The fetus stage is scientifically and natural part of an evolution of the human life cycle. Abortion is to terminate a human being in any stage of life, then abortion, ending a life of the fetus, is absolutely wrong. Killing is murder and murder are ethical absolutes.…

It is understandable to see why a mother would abort her child if her life is at risk, but this is at the expense of a baby, who has no part in the decision. Abortion disrespects the safety of a child, which ultimately end in death. Not only is abortion unsafe for a child, but abortion can cause health problems in a woman later on. Pro Choice vs. Pro Life There are many reasons on both sides of this issue of why people believe it is or is not okay to have an abortion. Many believe that it is a woman’s right to choose to end her pregnancy or not. The U.S. Supreme Court has declared that it is a right guaranteed by the Constitution. Many would also believe that in choosing to end her pregnancy, she is committing murder, and that although the child is unborn, it is still a living being with the same right to live as its mother. Pro Choice gives women the right to decide if having a child is right for her, and that choice does not end the moment she becomes pregnant.…

Motherhood should never be a punishment. Abortion is a fundamental right and should stay legal in all places for all people. A common misconception about abortion is that the child is able to feel being aborted and that it hurts the fetus. But what people do not know is that the child is actually not able to feel pain until around the twentieth week of gestation. Studies show that less than two percent of abortions occur after twenty weeks.…

Abortion is a touchy issue. Many say it is okay, others are totally against it, and some think it’s acceptable, depending of the circumstances. In my opinion, it’s wrong and not at all necessary, unless in the case of pregnancy, the mother is informed she will perish during the pregnancy term. Science continues to say a fetus is only a small “lump of tissue” but it isn’t, it’s human, it is a life. We are taught, “You shall not murder,” yet there are about 100, 000 lives aborted yearly.…

There has been a long existing debate of “Pro-Life” versus “Pro-Choice” about whether or not women should be able to abort a child. Many people being Pro-Choice will use the argument that the fetus isn 't a living person, and rather that it is the woman’s body; therefore the woman’s choice. There are other options women have such as adoption: waiting until the baby is born and providing the child a well-suited family to properly care for them. I believe any way you can avoid aborting a child is better than abortion because you give the child a chance for life. An unborn child in the womb contains all of the characteristics for it to be considered living, proving abortion is morally and scientifically wrong.…

Many have different reason to why they do, but either way it is wrong and it should not be legal. Throughout the years, the abortion rate has gone up severely. All of the abortions that happen can not just be from health issues or rape. A study shows that many abortions recently are just because the mother is not ready for a baby. “In 2010, more than half of all pregnancies were unintended in 28 states; in the remainder of the states, a minimum of 36% of pregnancies were unintended” (Wind, 1).…

An abortion can prevent the mother from dying from those complications. Many pro-life people say there are a lot of women who have had a pregnancy and regret it. What if the mother didn’t have an abortion and regret that also? There’s always two sides to it. Like I said before they could end up hating the child, which could lead to abuse.…

Another topic that has been used against pro-choice supporters and abortionists is the topic of abortion being “immoral”. Pro-life supporters talk about the immorality of abortion by saying that it is the murder of babies. On the contrary, abortion is not even remotely close to murder. Murder, by definition, is the act of one human taking away the life of another human. The pregnancy is not a human yet and therefore, cannot be referred to as a human (even abortion doctors refer to the embryo as the pregnancy) which means that abortion is not equal to murder.…
