Abortion has never been about choices and consequences. A mother has every right to live and so does the child. In abortions, the woman's right to live is not an issue, because her life is not in danger. Abortion is about trying to escape the repercussion of a mother's decision by taking away the choices of the most innocent kids. Abortion should never be the first alternative, regardless of the challenges, one person's right to a preferred lifestyle is not greater than another person's right to a life. Abortion should be illegal because just as they decided to have unprotected sexual intercourse, they knew the risks of unprotected sexual intercourse and one of those risks being a child. Some people think that abortion is an easy way to avoid having a baby and not having to worry about that extra responsibility. Also, Roe v. Wade has also resulted in some of the most lenient abortion laws in the world. Anyone who has unprotected sexual intercourse should take accountability for their actions, especially whenever it comes to a child. Abortion kills a new life and sometimes it seems that people who have an abortion easily think the fetus is just something that could be killed.
